Foundation story
The oldest Mss. (fragments) from the local collection date to the 15th cent.
History
history: Dabr. Formerly, the church of Mastǝḥ ʾAbuna Libānos existed in the vicinity of Mǝdra Rubā. According to the local people, some time in 1970s the community decided that it should be merged with the church of Mǝdra Rubā Śǝllase. Therefore the tābot(s), books and church utensils of Mastǝḥ were moved to Mǝdra Rubā Śǝllāse.
