Origin
18th century. (dating on palaeographic grounds) Out of three units, only Unit 2 has probably been conceived as an independent circulation unit. Unit 1 and Unit 3 might represent a different manuscript of approximately the same age, or slightly older, which was left unfinished or was dismantled. Its leaves were later infixed in the binding of Unit 2 (A. d'Abbadie speaks in his catalogue of only one leaf with a different text, at the end of the volume).
Provenance
The manuscript was aquired by Antoine d'Abbadie owner sometime between 1840 and 1848.
Acquisition
The manuscript entered the Bibliothèque nationale de France↗ in 1902.
