Origin
1700-1848 The main part Unit 1 was copied some time in the 17th or early 18th century. Loose pieces of paper Unit 2, Unit 3 and Unit 4 are of a later date, probably the first half of the 19th century.

The manuscript could have belonged to an individual called Walda Giyorgis owner .

The manuscript was acquired by Antoine d'Abbadie owner sometime between 1840 and 1848.
Acquisition
The manuscript entered the Bibliothèque nationale in 1902.
