1693 or somewhat later . According to the dates provided in Colophon 1 , item 1.5 , at least the part of the manuscript up to Content Item 1.5 Common of the Office (CAe 1960 SerataQeddase) or possibly the entire manuscript might have been completed on 14 May 1693 CE. Additional note 8 mentions Walatta Ṗeṭros donor as the one who donated to book to the church of Mary Magdalene of ʿArāto↗ (but cp. check the viewerpps. 68ra, 82ra, 86ra, 130ra and elsewhere obviously the names were written over other names which were erased). Additional note 10 mentions as an owner Walda Mikāʾel owner .

The manuscript was aquired by Antoine d'Abbadie owner sometime between 1840 and 1848.
