Quire I has been crudely sewn, probably in a second moment; it seems coming from another Ms., containing also the text “Maṣḥafa gǝbra ḥǝmāmāt”. f. 1 is cut. Holes repaired on fols. 110, 111, 113, 116, 117.

Two wooden boards covered with reddish-brown tooled leather (for the most part missing); overback (partly torn off). Two pairs of sewing stations.

Fine.The handwriting is fine and uniform, with rounded and short letters. Some features: - the upper horizontal strokes of some letters (e.g., መ, ሠ, በ, ጠ, ወ) are slanted to the left; - the letter መ, in the 1st and 2nd orders, has the right loop raised high above the ruled line. Starting from check the viewer154va , above, another hand seems to have been attested.
Ink: Black; red (brilliant vermillion).
