The anthology contains in Syriac 25-28 homilies, 48-51 letters and 3-8 homilies under the title "Chapters on Knowledge". The Arabic and Gǝʿǝz version have 30 homilies, 48 letters and 3 "Chapters on Knowledge" and as a preface or epilogue a letter from John Saba↗ to another monk and the latter's answer. Graf 1944
