Condition
The Ms. was rebound. Both boards are broken and repaired by means of wire. The inner corners of check the viewer153-176 are damaged, some text is lost.. Cuts carefully amended on check the viewer47 , 51, 67, 90, 134, 160, 169. The inner corners of fols. 153-176 are damaged and have been repaired by means of pieces of parchment made out from a different Ms. (containing an unidentified more recent text, s. check the viewer170v , 171v, 172v, 173r, 174r, 175r), sewn to the fol. by means of parchment strips (fols. 153-163, 166-169, 176), and by means of threads (fols. 164-165, 170-175).
Binding
Two wooden boards (both are broken) covered with brown leather (for the most part missing). Two pairs of sewing station.
Binding decoration
Traces of turn-ins are on the inner face of the left board. Overback made of blind tooled brown leather. Quires I and A are reinforced by parchment guards on the outer folds; quires XIX-XXVI are reinforced by parchment guards on the outer folds and in the centrefolds. The parchment guard applied to quire XXVI is made out of a re-used fol. from a different Ms. Two pairs of chains of endband stitches at the spine cover.

Legend 1 (upon the seven Archangels): ሰብዐቱ፡ መላእክት፡ "Seven Angels". Legend 2 (bottom margin, probably added by a secondary recent hand): በስልጣነ፡ አብ፡ ወወልድ፡ ወመንፈስ፡ ቅዱስ፡ ዘይብሉ፡ ፬ቱ፡ ስላሴ፡ ውጉዛነ፡ ለይኩኑ። "With the authority of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, those who say 'Trinity is four' will be excommunicated". This miniature was probably used as the exemplar for the miniature in ATH-008.
