Origin
1680-1748
Provenance
The manuscript is composed of three parts. Codicological Unit p1 and Codicological Unit p2 appear to have been nearly complete manuscripts that lost their bindings, Codicological Unit p3 is a fragment. Codicological Unit p1 seems to be the oldest. All were gathered by Antoine d’Abbadie [d’Arrast] during his stay in Ethiopia in 1837-48. It is difficult to say when they became one circulation unit (possibly only when they were united within one binding in the Bibliothèque nationale de France).
