Origin
18th century, but not after 1796. Unit 1 was produced in the beginning of around the middle of the 18th century, in any case before the 1796, the time of Takla Giyorgis I (reigned in several periods between 1779 and 1800). Unit 2 was produced around the same time (it cannot be excluded that the scribe was the same). Ḥabtu owner was an owner (possible also the scribe).
Provenance
The manuscript was bought by Antoine d'Abbadie owner sometime between 1840 and 1848.
Acquisition
The manuscript entered Bibliothèque nationale de France↗ in 1902.
