Foliation marked in pencil by an early European hand on the top right with numbers from 1 to 209, while the number 210 and 211 are marked by another more recent European hand. Folia 131, 174 and 184 are numbered twice with the addition "bis" distinguishing the latter ones, added by a later hand, that has marked also the protective leaves. Four paper and two parchment protective leaves before the textblock. The first of these is not numbered, while second to sixth carry the numbers I, II, III, IV and V. First paper protective covered on one side with yellow-brown marble paper, that was also used for covering the inner sides of the plates while the backside is covered with a modern paper sheet with notes on the contents of the codex. Four paper protective leaves after the textblock are unnumbered.
