Origin
1475-1476 (internal-date) The manuscript was commissioned by Bǝlen Sagad owner , ʾaqāḍan of Sarāye↗ , and completed in the year 51 according to the Era of Grace (=1475/76 CE), according to Colophon 1 , item 2 , which seems to be 1475/76 CE (cp. Chaîne 1925) and the eighth year of the reign of Baʾǝda Māryām I . Elsewhere the date is interpreted as 1476/77 CE (Kolmodin 1916). According to Conti Rossini, Tanśǝʾa Krǝstos scribe ? mentioned in supplications on some folia (e.g. 139ra not found in this file 143ra not found in this file) might have been the scribe who copied the text.
Provenance
The manuscript was bought by Antoine d'Abbadie owner sometime between 1840 and 1848.
Acquisition
The manuscript entered Bibliothèque nationale de France↗ in 1902.
