The date and the production place of Unit 1 are mentioned in Colophon 1. Murad Kamil drew conclusion on the identity of the scribe probably not on the basis of Colophon 1 but of (a5) of codicological unit 1 where Qalemǝnṭos (a brother of Peṭros ) calls himself the scribe of the note.Summary of codicological unit 1

(According to the colophon, the manuscript ( Codicological Unit p1 ) was copied in the year of mercy 6936 (= 1428 CE), in a district of ʾAmḥarā↗ called Ḫaqqǝlat↗ . Murad Kamil read the year as 6937 (= 1429 CE) and considered as the scribe Qalemǝnṭos who is mentioned in the colophon (cp. also (a5) of codicological unit 1 ). This cannot be excluded but the text of the colophon is not fully clear.)

A note recording the death of the priest Ṗeṭros (the same person as mentioned in Sinai Peninsula, Saint Catherine’s Monastery Sinai, Sinai Ethiopic 6) that took place on 14 Gǝnbot 6952 "year of mercy" (=1444 CE). The note was written by his brother Qalemǝnṭos .

Some time around or possibly before 1428 . Unit 3 is possible a fragment of a manuscript. A commissioner or owner, Ṗeṭros (who could be the priest Ṗeṭros brother of Qalemǝnṭos , see above) is mentioned in the supplication formulas (for instance check the viewerfols. 135va, 136ra, 137ra ).

Unit 4 was produced some time after Codicological Unit p1 (first Content Item 1 of codicological unit 4 Ḥassāba rәtuʿ (CAe 6291) and later Content Item 2 of codicological unit 4 Didǝsqǝlyā, Chapter 38 (CAe 1309 Chapter38) ) and probably as addition to it, not as a separate circulation unit.
