Based on other manuscripts written by Walda Muse scribe (Gulo Maḵadā, Mǝdra Rubā Sǝllase, MR-007, Bǝḥerāwi Kǝllǝlāwi Mangǝśti Tǝgrāy, ʿUrā Qirqos, UM-023, Gulo Maḵadā, ʾAgamyo Qǝddus Mikāʾel, AGM-009, and Gulo Maḵadā, Mǝdra Rubā Sǝllase, MR-004) which contain information allowing approximate dating, we may infer that the scribe should have written the manuscript between 1865 and 1890.Summary of codicological unit 1

Record concerning the origin of the parchment used for the book (?).
እስከሬን፡ እንቲወጽእ፡ እተሐርደት፡ ጤል፡ ብራና፡ እይ። ወጸሐፊሃ፡ ወልደ፡ ሙሴ Parchment made of a goat slaughtered while a dead body leaves (the house). Written in Tǝgrǝñña by the scribe Walda Muse scribe ; it concerns an unidentified practice of distinguishing a folio made of a goat which was slaughtered when a body of the dead person left for the church (?).
