The manuscript was bought and donated to the church during the rule of daǧǧāzmāč Wǝbe Ḫāyla Māryām (1835-1867) (s. Additio 1).Provenance
According to Additio 1 ʾabuna Gabra Ḥǝywat donated the Ms. (s. also donation note check the viewer2r ). The names in the original donation note were washed out (s. Additio 2); other persons are mentioned in supplication formulas: Wangelāwit (s. check the viewer84ra , 84rb, 92vb, 94va), Habta Māryām (check the viewer86vb ), Masqal Kǝbrā (check the viewer87va ). Elsewhere, a few other names are crudely written, interlineally, by a different hand; Kidāna Māryām in supplication formulas (check the viewer20va , 25va, 40vb, 50va, 50va, 85va); Naftālem (check the viewer84vb , 86ra, 86vb, 87v-88r). Possibly, these Kidāna Māryām and Naftālem are linked to ʾabuna Gabra Ḥǝywat.
