Origin
Shortly before 1711. (internal-date)
Provenance
The name of the king mentioned in the supplication formulas seems to have been very carefully erased, the name of King Tewoflos has been inserted instead in a slightly smaller letters, but in the same main Hand h1 (cp. check the viewerFols. 2ra, 5rb, 8ra, 10ra and elsewhere). The manuscript had very probably belonged to a church in the Gondar↗ area, from where it was taken by Tewodros II and brought to Madḫāne ʿĀlam↗ . It was then looted by the British Napier expedition in 1868.
