It contains an excerpt of the Nicene Creed (CAe 3308) in Gǝʿǝz, followed by its equivalents in Greek (corresponding to τὸ ἐκ τοῦ πατρὸς ἐκπορευόμενον τὸ σὺν πατρὶ καὶ υἱῷ συμπροσκυνούμενον καὶ συνδοξαζόμενον τὸ λαλῆσαν διὰ τῶν προφητῶν) and Arabic (corresponding المنبثق من الالا الذي هو مع الاب والابن مسجودا وممجد الناطق بالانبياء) written in Ethiopic script. The language in each case is indicated above the line in Amharic.

   Next to the main text, a secondary hand as added supplemental text, possibly based on the Arabic text of the Psalms: In Ps 90 (91:4, check the viewerfol. 60v ), next ወትትዌከል፡ በገበዋቲሁ፡ has been added በታሕተ፡ ክነፊሁ፡ (corresponding to بخوا فيه يظللك وتحت أجنحته تحتمي);

    Next to the main text ሰአሉ፡ ወመጽኡ፡ ፍርፍርት፡ ወአጽገቦሙ፡ ኅብስተ፡ ሰማይ፡ in Ps 105:40 (check the viewerfol. 69v ), has been added አረቢ፡ and then in Arabic written in Ethiopic script the corresponding text ሰአሉ፡ ፋታሖሙ፡ ባልሰሉይ፡ ወሁብዝ፡ እልሰማ፡ አሸባእሖም፡ (corresponding to اسألوا فأتاهم بالسلوى وخبز السماء).
