General description
Christian version of Maṣḥafa ʾardǝʾt). The work, belonging to the magical and apocryphal literature, contains the revelation and teaching of the secret names of Jesus and his twelve apostles, who are able to perfom miracles thanks to these names. It exists in two principal versions, a short one (Maṣḥafa ʾardǝʾt) and a long one (Maṣḥafa ʾardǝʾt). It is not known whether the work is a translation or an original composition.
