written in a later, trained hand. ዝንቱ፡ ዳዊት፡ ዘአጽቀ፡ ኢየሱስ፡ ዘወሀባ፡ ለጉልቢ፡ ማርያም፡ ወዘአቡሁ፡ አለቃ፡ ተድላ፡ ወስመ፡ ጥምቀቱ፡ ወልደ፡ ገብርኤል፡ ወእሙ፡ እማሆይ፡ ተሰማሽ፡ ወስመ፡ ጥምቀታ፡ አመተ፡ ኢየሱስ፡ ዘሠረቆ፡ ወዘፈሐቆ፡ በሥልጣነ፡ ጴጥሮስ፡ ወጳውሎስ፡ ውጉዘ፡ ለይኩን፡ ለዓለመ፡ ዓለም፡ አሜን። Translation: ( ) This Psalter belongs to Atsqa Iyasus who donated it to Gulbi Maryam [church]. His father is Alaqa Tadla, and his baptismal name is Walda Gabri’el. His mother is Ǝmmahoy Tasamaš, whose baptismal name is Amatta Iyasus. Whoever steals or effaces it is anamethatized by the authority of Peter and Paul, forever and ever, Amen
