The second part () mentions the commissioner, ʾIyob, the “head of the heads”, whose baptismal name is Tadewos; he is said to be the son of the sister of ʿaqabe säʿat Diyosqoros and to come from the region of Märṭulä Māryām (a church in Goǧǧam). In the supplication formula at the end, Tadewos is mentioned again, together with his wife Walatta Gabra Manfas Qǝddus, the scribe Märqorewos and another individual, Gunda Hāymānot, who is also mentioned as the commissioner of the book. The colophon states that the Ms. was completed in Yakkātit, in his 12th year of the reign of King ʾIyasu (most probably ʾIyasu II, r. 1730-1755 [s. EAE III, 251-253] = ca. February 1742). The same date is mentioned in colophon 1. The note mentions also the name of the commissioner, Tadewos ʾIyob, and his “beloved” Wälätta Gabra Manfas Qǝddus. His “children”, Rufāʾel and Walatta Rufāʾel, and his teacher, ʾIyosyas from Märṭulä Māryām (in Goǧǧam), are also mentioned. At the end ʾAkalä Giyorgis is mentioned as the one who copied the Ms., together with all “the people of his house”. The note mentions also that the Ms. was purchased “in the Reign of Dabra Ṣǝyon”, but it is unclear which are the names of whom purchased it (the commissioners?).
