Birth
He was born at ʿAgama↗ in 1485.
Period of Activity
He was the sixth abbot of the monastery of Gunda Gunde↗ and became an abbot in 1555 succeeding ʾabbā Takla Nabiyāt . He was a relative of ʾabbā role: title ʾƎsṭifānos , the first leader of Stephanites . He took the monastic habit at the age of 15 from the hands of Gabra Maśiḥ . He was represented in the community as an interpreter of the Scriptures.

He died in 1572
