He was one of the most important nobles during Zamana Masāfǝnt and commissioned the copying of the royal chronicles by his close friend and secretary assistant (scribe) ʾAbagāz↗ in 1785 at the monastery of Maḫdara Māryām↗ , where they both found asylum.
