Good. Two small holes in the front board. The enclosed paper note contains a description of the manuscript (wrongly dating the manuscript to the reign of King Yoḥannǝs IV, r. check the viewerFols 1872–89, ) and its content, prepared by the bookseller Ejnar Munksgaard (check the viewer1890–1948 ).
Binding
Ethiopian binding, probably rearranged in Europe.
Two wooden boards covered with reddish brown leather (quarter cover). Two pairs of sewing stations.
Endbands missing.
The text block has been attached to the boards by means of non-Ethiopian technique. Paper fly leaves were inserted between the boards and the text block and glued to the inner sides of the boards.
