The commissioners mentioned in the manuscript up to check the viewerfol. 104r are Batra Māryām patron and "his beloved" Walda Ḥannā patron , with the scribe Maṣora Dǝngǝl scribe . On check the viewer104v "the children of Zaṗārāqliṭos patron " are mentioned. On check the viewer109r Gabra Māryām patron , Maṣora Dǝngǝl scribe and ʿĀmda Giyorgis patron are mentioned (the last name written over an erasure). The manuscript was bought by the Russian diplomat Alexander Orlov owner .

The manuscript was acquired by the Asian Museum on 10 September 1903
