The book is sewn on four sewing stations (two pairs) linked to uncovered wooden boards.
The left board is broken in three parts and the right board is broken in two. The parts are held together by leather strings and threads of vegetal origin. On the boards there are traces of leather turn-ins. A row of small holes is present on head and tail of the spine. They might be traces of the attachment of the endbands or the holes used for the quire tackets. In the 3rd quire the thread used for the tacket or for sewing the endband is still present.Sewing Stations
