The text of the Vita represents the later of the two sub-types of the Dabra Libānos recension (close to the text published by E.A.W. BUDGE (ed., tr.), The Life and Miracles of Takla Hâymânôt in the Version of Dabra Lîbânôs..., London, 1906; cp. also the Miracles). Quire XVII apparently constitutes a separate production unit (check the viewer13 0ra-131rb; Miracle of the resurrection of Bäṣalota Masqal is usually a story included in the Vita).
