The leather cover is damaged at the spine check the viewer55 , 56, 73 have been enlarged by sewing a piece of parchment onto them (at the bottom or side margin). Tear amended on check the viewer70 .
Binding
Two wooden boards covered with reddish-brown tooled leather. Two pairs of sewing stations.
Binding decoration
Two pairs of chains of endband stitches at the spine cover. Quire XV is reinforced with a parchment guard, inserted into the centre fold.
