In the list of the “tituli” for Matthew, the titles are 56, but the numbers 32, 33 and 34 were repeated twice; between the titles with the numbers 40 and 41 another title is added (with the Ethiopic number “፴፲”); the last two titles are without numeration. Concerning the contents and the postscript of the Gospels, cp. R. ZUURMOND, Novum Testamentum Aethiopice: the Synoptic Gospels, Part I: General Introduction, Part II: Edition of the Gospel of Mark, Stuttgart 1989 (AeF 27), 1-31. The traditional introduction is missing. The canon tabels are missing.
