Origin
Original Location: Qarsabar Qǝddus Mikāʾel↗
The colophon of the main block refers to the date 307 year of mercy (= 1731 A.D.), King Bakāffā (r. 1721-30) and Metropolitan Krǝstodolu (III) (in tenure 1720-35). The miniatures originate from a different, much older manuscript (15th century?). Quire III is inserted at a later point.Provenance
The name of the original donor has been erased from the colophon, and the name of šum Warad inserted over the erasure. Some other names were inscribed in the supplications formulas, but then erased: Walatta Ṣǝyon (check the viewer73va ), Warada Qāl (check the viewer78va ).
