Translation English: I, the sinner Walda Krǝstos, wrote this book without reward (but) for the sake of love to Our Lady Mary, so that it might be a guide for me to the Kingdom of Heaven. And the one who gave the parchment to Our Lady Mary is priest Walda Dāwit, so that She might be the guarantor for her beloved one in the Kingdom of Heaven. May He reward them together like the righteous and martyrs. For ever and ever. Amen and Amen. The one who stole this book from this church or erased (its text) or demeaned its words or robbed it shall be excommunicated by the word of Peter and Paul and also by my word, of the sinful Walda Krǝstos. So be it. So be it.
