Text I-1 includes the hymns: - Halle luya nǝsäggǝd la-ʾab bǝrhānāt wa-lä-waldu waḥǝd… “Halleluiah, we worship the Father…” (check the viewer9rb-10ra ) - ʾƎsaggǝd laki ʾo-ʾǝgzǝʾtǝnä Māryām qǝddǝst dǝngǝl ʾǝmmu la-ʾIyasus Krǝstos kahāli… “I worship you, o my Lady, Holy Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus Christ the Almighty…” (check the viewer10vb-11ra ) - salām laki ʾo-ʾǝgzǝʾtǝnä Māryām dǝngǝl ʾǝmma madḫǝn ʾǝmma bǝrhān … “Salutation to you, o my Lady, Virgin Mary, Mother of the Saviour and Mother of the Light…” (check the viewer11ra-12ra ). The Ms. shows traces of intensive use; some leaves are stained with wax and dirt, especially at the beginning and the end of the Ms. (e.g., on check the viewer6r , 7r, 104v, 106r). The leather cover is slightly damaged along the corners. check the viewer56 and 59 are undersized. check the viewer19 is cut. Tears amended on many leaves: e.g., check the viewer12 , 17, 31, 49, 50, 95.
