Condition
The Ms. is badly damaged. The leather has been torn off from both boards (only the edges and the turn-ins have been preserved). The sewing is completely destroyed. Many leaves are misplaced (e.g., fols. 1-16, 58-92); some are possibly missing. Many fols. are detached from their counterparts and are about to fall apart along the ruled lines. The outer edge of check the viewer58 is cut off.
Binding
Two wooden boards covered with reddish-brown tooled leather (now for the most part missing); textile inlays. Two pairs of sewing stations.

Small holes and tears are visible on the spine fold of the quires, close to the head and the tail of the codex.

Fine, careful. At the beginning, the handwriting is characterized by finely shaped, slender, tall and upright letters. Later, it shows some irregularities with smaller, slightly right sloping and irregularly spaced letters (cp. check the viewer44 vcheck the viewer102 )
Ink: Black, red
Rubrication: Divine names; name of the original donor (erased); elements of the punctuation signs; elements of Ethiopic numerals. A few lines alternating with black lines on the incipit page; two initial lines of sections and section numbers.
