በሥምረተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላክ፡ ዘአካላቲሁ፡ ሰለሥቱ፡ ወአሐዱ መለኮቱ እንዘ፡ እምኒሁ፡ ንትረዳእ ክሂለ፡ ወንትመራህ፡ ፍኖተ፡ ፍጻሜ። ንወጥን፡ አስተጋብዖተ፡ መዝሙር፡ ዐቢይ፡ ዘስሙ፡ ብዕለ፡ ነፍስ፡ እም፡ ብዙኃን፡ መዛግብት፡ በሰብዓ፡ ፻ወአሐዱ፡ ፻፷ሠወሠለስቱ፡ የዓመት፡ እምፍጥረተ፡ ዓለም... According to the colophon, the writing took place in the 7th year of the reign of King Yoḥannǝs, called also ʾAʾǝlaf Sägäd (r. 1667-82), i.e., in 1674. This section is preceded by a presentation of the Antiphonary and a concise description of its history. The note is written in the main hand. It states that the work was completed within one year (i.e., 1675?).
