18th century (?) for quires II-X and XIII-XIV. Quire I (hand a) and quires XI-XII (hand c) were produced later (19th cent.?), and possibly at the same time.Provenance
The names of the original donor or commissioner have been erased from the supplication formulas and Additio 1, but one name is partly discernible, possibly as Walda Krǝstos (check the viewer60r , 108r), the name of Walatta Kidān is mentioned on check the viewer75r , 77va. Another individual, Malka Ṣedek, is mentioned as the donor in Additio 1 (hand c) and in the supplication formulas (e.g., check the viewer8vb (hand a) with his father Takla Giyorgis, further in many cases the name is inserted over erasure, s. check the viewer14r , 17r and 18r, 18vb-19ra, etc., 111r, etc.
