Origin
18th century or beginning of the 19th century (17th century according to C. Conti Rossini, 18th century according to M. Chaîne). The manuscript was copied by the scribe Giyorgis scribe and richly illuminated; the name of the commissioner has been erased (cp. check the viewerFol. ). A link to Beta ʾƎsrāʾel cannot be excluded.
Provenance
It was later acquired by Antoine d'Abbadie .
Acquisition
The manuscript entered the Bibliothèque nationale↗ in 1902.

The name of the scribe, Giyorgis , appears in the concluding supplication on check the viewer49r . C. Conti Rossini suggests that this specific version of the text may be of Beta ʾƎsrāʾel origin.check the viewerFols 50r and following, check the viewer1v Ṭabiba ṭabibān (CAe 2393)

According to C. Conti Rossini, the text ends on check the viewerfol. 1v due to the mistake of the scribe; his name, Giyorgis , is mentioned in the explicit. The manuscript has not been used in the edition in Dillmann 1866.Decoration In this unit there are in total 20 s.
