He was nǝguś role: title of Šawā ↗ from about 1827 to 1855. He aspired to a central role in Ethiopian politics and he even took the title ʾaṣe role: titleḪāyla Malakot although he was not anointed. When ʾaṣe role: title Tewodros II invaded Wallo↗ , Ḫāyla Malakot cooperated with the Wallo↗ ruler, Warqitu but their plan failed. Then, ʾaṣe role: title Tewodros II invaded Šawā ↗ and Ḫāyla Malakot was defeated and seriously wounded.
Death
He died in 1855 and was buried Dabra Baggǝʿ↗ .
