European binding, red leather with gilded borders. Imprinted on the spine: Constitutions. Cover of the inner board and first fly-leaf gilded paper with floral pattern. The text block was trimmed and its edges have been gilded. One paper fly leaf each at the front and back, on which a watermark is visible.

A bookmark of blue textile, very probably European, was attached to the headband, it is now torn off and has been placed in the manuscript.
