Period of Activity
He was a saint of the 17th century, contemporary of ʾaṣe role: titleSusǝnyos . At the age of twelve, he went to the monastery of Dabra Dabsān↗ to take monastic orders and was ordained priest by the metropolitan ṗāṗṗās ʾabuna role: titleKrǝstodolu [II] . As a follower of ʾEwosṭātewos , he professed the Unionist doctrine during the Christological controversies. Because of his beliefs, ʾAbrānyos was imprisoned by ʾaṣe role: titleTakla Hāymānot I and released by ʾaṣe role: titleTewoflos . Thereafter, he returned to his monastery Dabra Ṭǝllul↗ where he remained until his death. He was succeeded by ʾAkāla Krǝstos .
