Origin
Probably second half of the 14th century The commissioner might have been Bǝrhāna Masqal (mentioned on many folia, see check the viewerfols. 122vb, 123ra, 123vb, 125rb, 144va, 145ra, 145rb, 193rb, 194rb, 194va, 194vb, 195ra, 195va ). According to the description of Murad Kamil, he was the scribe, but he is not referred to as scribe anywhere in the manuscript. More exact production date of the manuscript may be mentioned in Content Item 3 An excerpt from treatise on chronology the Maṣḥafa ḥassāb (CAe 6800) ? (see above, 6867 equivalent to 1359 CE, according to Murad Kamil, or 1375 CE?).

Probably incomplete, the text on check the viewerfols. 199vb, is erased or cannot be read in the microfilm. Murad Kamil quotes a passage from check the viewer199v which in his opinion provides a year that can be considered the production date, 6867 (from the creation of the world?) , equated in his description to 1359 CE, yet according to Chaîne 1925 this seems to be rather 1375 CE. A part of the material is interpolated from the "Comboni Treatise" (see. ).check the viewerFols 200r–207v A version of the treatise on computus and calendar that sometimes bear the title Ḥassāba rәtuʿ (CAe 6291)

Language of text:
The years should possibly be understood as the Era of the Creation and may correspond to years 1403 to 1415 CE. Murad Kamil provides different years, 1387 to 1399 A.D. Other parameters for those years do not accord. The text is not well readable.Additions In this unit there are in total 3 s, 5 s, 1 .

check the viewerFols 1r–1v (Type: CommemorativeNote)
