Dorothea Reule
General description
Any literary work /text which has been added to the manuscript as an additional note, in part (excerpts) or in entirety. It can be a small size or even mid-size composition (frequently malkǝʾ). Typical cases are works written on guard leaves, sometimes even in the reversed direction or transgressing the codicological settings of the main texts in any different way.
Examples are:

Gāntā ʾAfašum, Dǝblā Yoḥannǝs Maṭmǝq, DMD-003, f. 1r-2v: Malkәʾa Ṗeṭros wa-Ṗāwlos followed by an ʾarke-hymn, in a Four Gospel manuscript; the same text in Gulo Maḵadā, ʾArāʿro Takla Hāymānot, ATH-002, Acts of Takla Haymanot.

Synaxarion entries, Creed of faith, theological treatises, dispersed miracles (Bǝḥerāwi Kǝllǝlāwi Mangǝśti Tǝgrāy, Dabra Dāmmo ʾAbuna ʾAragāwi, DD-025, f. 165rv), hymns of the prefactory part of the miracles of Mary, Old Amharic compositions:
