Much of the problem is addressed through the selection of an appropriate aspect ratio for the codex combined with an appropriate script size. But, where the line of text is still too long, the scribe reduces the font size at the end of lines to avoid having to go onto the next line (throughout). This scribe also will complete the line of text above the end of the line, e.g., fols. 103v, 120r, 120v
