Provenance
The manuscript originally belonged to Zawalda Māryām owner (see, e.g., check the viewerfols., ). It was acquired by an unknown missionary of Evangeliska fosterlandsstiftelsen and brought to Sweden at some point between 1866 (when the first missionaries connected to Evangeliska fosterlandsstiftelsen arrived in Ethiopia) and 1928 , when it was catalogued in Sweden. During a period, the manuscript was kept at Evangeliska Fosterlands-Stiftelsens etnografiska missionsmuseum↗ in Johannelund (Ulvsunda, Stockholm↗ ). After being catalogued by Oscar Anders Valfrid Löfgren in 1928 , apparently in Uppsala (), the manuscript was given by Evangeliska fosterlandsstiftelsen to Archbishop Erling Eidem owner .
Acquisition
In 1964 , Erling Eidem bequeather donated the manuscript to its current repository.
