He was born at Dabra Bǝrhan↗ in 1844.
Period of Activity
He was ʾaṣe role: title Mǝnilǝk II↗ 's private secretary and minister of Pen. He was also served as the dean of the churches of ʾƎnṭoṭṭo Rāguʾel↗ near ʾAddis ʾAbabā↗ and ʾAddis ʾAlam Māryām↗ . He began his career as a clerk in the court of wayzaro role: title Bāfanā↗ and was transferred to the service of the king in the late1870s. In 1889, he was promoted to the position of Ṣaḥāfe tǝʾǝzāz role: title ↗ and was thereafter regarded as one of the most influential officials of ʾaṣe role: title Mǝnilǝk II↗ . In 1907 he was appointed Minister of the Pen. Around 1910 he moved to Addis ʿAläm↗ with the title ?.
Death
He died at ʾAddis ʾAbabā↗ in 1912.
