He belonged to the royal army, fulfilling the function of fitāwrāri role: title in 1699 and then he was introduced into the circle revolving around the royal persons. He supported the coming to power of ʾaṣe role: title ʾIyāsu the Great 's son ʾaṣe role: title Takla Hāymānot I . He openly conspired against ʾaṣe role: title Yosṭos in around 1712 and was imprisoned.
