Condition
The spine cover has been crudely repaired with recent synthetic threads. Some fols. are stained with wax: e.g., check the viewer2r-3v , or water: e.g., check the viewer2r-5v , 12r-13r, 16r-19r. Holes are burnt on check the viewer17 and 19. Some fols. are torn along the inner vertical ruling line: e.g., check the viewer11 , 23, 34. Holes and tears amended on fols. 1, 10, 47, 49, 70, 88, 97.
Binding
Two wooden boards covered with reddish-brown tooled leather; textile inlays (a mirror might have once been attached to the inner side of the front board). Overback made of reddish-brown tooled leather. Two pairs of sewing stations.
