Condition
The sewing is completely damaged on the spine thus it was heavily reparaired with different kind of thread. The lower board is broken in two halves held together by a leather string passing through the holes. Quire 1 and quire 2 are stained with dirt along the lower part showing signs of intense use. There are tears on the margins. The parchment is of a good manifacture. Tears occurred during the manifacture were repaired using vegetal thread. On fol. 18v there is a wide white stain, probably a starch based adhesive.
Binding
Ethiopic bookbinding with uncovered wooden boards.
Two wooden boards of a dark reddish wood. Additional holes, bigger than the ones used for the sewing, are present: two in the inner edge (head and tale) of both boards and one in the outer lower corner of the upper board.Sewing Stations
4 Small holes are present close to the head and tail of the quires, prabably remains of the tackets. The last folio has been added as protective endleaf.Binding material

Pricking
- (Subtype: pattern) The layout corresponds to the pattern I defined by D. Nosnitsin: the text is written above the first ruled line, the vertical and horizontal pricks are visible and they are located in the margins. Since the bifolia show the same irregularity in the lineup of the text pricks, probably the same template has been used during the pricking. Some bifolia are pricked from the flesh side, other from the hair side.
