( en ) This (is) the book of ʾAdd Grāt of the church of Cyricus and his mother Julitta. May the one who stole and who erased (it's text) be excommunicated by the authority of Peter and Paul. The one who bought it with his money (is) daǧǧāzmāč Kāsā who is Tasfā Māryām, so that it might be for him the salvation of (his) body and soul in the new Kingdom of Heaven along with his father Za-Manfas Qǝddus and his mother ʾAqlisya, forever and ever. Amen.
The note is written by the same hand which added the name Tasfā Māryām in the supplication formulas throughout the Ms. Written half in black, half in red ink. The note dates the time of daǧǧāzmāč Sabāgādis (1770-1831), father of daǧǧāzmāč Kāsā (or Kāḥsāy) , whose baptismal name is Za-Manfas Qǝddus. -
