Condition
Both wooden boards are broken and crudely repaired with different types of threads. There is a hole in the middle of the back board. The tooled leather cover is for the most part torn off (preserved only as turn-ins on the inner side of both boards). The lower corners and the edges are damaged by rodents. Many fols. are stained with water and wax. Holes on fols. 1, 117. Holes are amended on fols. 2, 6, 28, 39, 54, 56, 72, 108.
Binding
Two wooden boards (both broken and crudely repaired). The leather cover is missing; remains of the turn-ins are visible on the inner face of both boards. Remains of a textile inlay on the inner side of the front board. Two pairs of sewing stations (quires XII-XIV are sewn on one station).

Holes are visible on the spine fold of the quires, one close to the head and two close to the tail of the codex.
