The note mentions the scribe Gabra Māryām and the commissioner ʾabuna Gab<…>, whose name however remains only party readable. At the end, infact, the line with part of his name and some more have been erased. The note mentions the commissioner of the Ms. Fǝre Mikāʾel, from the relatives of Falaga Śǝnnāy and Mārāḥe Ḥǝwat, and tells the story “how our Lord selected the children of this place (daqiqa zatti makān) who commissioned the miracles of Gabra Manfas Qǝddus”. In this story, the Martyrs of Ṗarāqliṭos (samāʿtāta Ṗarāqliṭos), from Tiberias (Ṭǝ[bǝ]ryādos), number of which was 777, are the protagonists. Some passages of the note have been erased and others are partly readable.

Condition
The front board is missing; one fol. and half covered by a textile have the function to replace it. The original sewing is for the most part missing. The Ms. has been resewn with recent threads. A few folios are misplaced (e.g., fol. 9), some are possibly missing (e.g., between check the viewer8v and check the viewer10r ). Several fols. are damaged at the edges; check the viewer1r is for the most part destroyed, a part of the text is lost. Many fols. are affected by humidity.

Two wooden boards (the front one is missing); remains of brown leather cover (turn-ins) have been preserved on the back board. Two pairs of sewing stations.

Mediocre, irregular.The handwriting is characterized by right-sloping letters with rounded and curved shapes (e.g., ወ በ), with a few others more angular (e.g., መ ዐ). Some distinctive and/or ancient features: - ጵ has the 6th order marker set up on the vertical stroke at the top, oriented to the left (e.g., check the viewer2vb l.11) - መ, in the 4 order, has the loops not completely separated (e.g., check the viewer10va l.1) - መ, ሠ, በ ወ have the tops slanted to the left - ፮ is with the loop open, looking like “compressed” ፯ (e.g., check the viewer12va l.3) - ፪ has the loops closed, not separated - ፬ is triangular, downwords oriented (e.g., check the viewer57rb ). - sentence dividers are accompanied by the paragraph signs.
Ink: Black; red (vivid vermillion).
