Text I-1, partly with interlineal musical notation (check the viewer8ra- vb), contains: - Ṣalota [za-yǝbǝl] ʾǝmqǝdmä [yanbǝbu] taʾammǝr la-ʾǝgzǝʾtǝnä Māryām... “Prayer [recited] before [reading] the Miracles ...” (check the viewer9ra ). It also contains indications for the reading of an excerpt from the Gospel of John (Jn. 19:25-27) (check the viewer9ra ) and the hymn salām la-Māryām “Salutation for Mary” (check the viewer9ra ). Further indications for reading the Miracles of Mary are written in the upper margin of check the viewer7v and 10v. Text I-2 includes the hymns: - ʾO-ʾǝgzǝʾtǝyä qǝddǝst dǝngǝl ba-kǝlʾe Māryām walādita ʾamlāk ... “O my Lady, Holy Two-fold Virgin Mary, Godbearing ...” (check the viewer10ra l.12-va) - ʾO-ʾǝgzǝʾtǝyä qǝddǝst dǝngǝl Māryām Mariham ʾǝmmu la-ʾIyasus Krǝstos kahāli ... “O my Lady, Holy Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesus Christ the Almighty ...” (check the viewer10va ) (cp. Condition
The Ms. was resewn. check the viewer6r-7v were misplaced. Originally, check the viewer8r-11v (quire II) were placed between check the viewer5r-6v (quire I). The leather cover is partly detached from the back board; it has been cut off from the spine, probably to facilitate the resewing. The lower corner of check the viewer93 is cut off. Holes or tears carefully amended on fols. 1, 3, 47, 73, 84, 86, 87, 104, 130. ff. 1 and 3 are of different size and lighter colour.

Two wooden boards covered with reddish-brown tooled leather (half cover). Two pairs of sewing stations.
