Origin
Folss. 2r, 172v, mention "our King Yohannes" (I, 1667-1682); 174r mentions "esteemed Pope Abba Synoda" (1671-1692). Nevertheless, it is difficult to reconcile these historical references with the paleography of the book, which is a bit challenging to locate in the 18th century, let alone the 17th.
